I have narrowed it down to these main research images. I know its a lot of them, but they may help the content of my sketches.

I like the small lamps on the cafe tables.
I like the look and colors of this attic. It looks warm and inviting, which would help the transition into dance hall.

I liked the depth and repetition of the beams in this image.

This is my favorite of the Silvertones that I have found. I'd prefer the smaller, but the tall one is an option. That depends on what size speakers Vince wants in the radio.

Collage of postcards and stamps

I really like the aged look to the postcards along with the grayish wood graining. This is kinda the color palette i'm thinking about for the floor treatment; but with a little more brown mixed in.
